Donna Melanson has a passion for creating beautiful things,

Silk painting allows her to create brightly colored designs, which she cuts up and sews into lovely pillows, pouches and scarves. She often adds another dimension with free motion sewing - a technique of "drawing" with the sewing machine.
Screen printing offers Donna a new way to get designs onto fabric. Her fun designs are sewn into pillows, pouches and totes. Free-motion stitching adds more detail.
Since the closing of the DeCordova Museum School she offers classes only at Silk and Clay Studio.
